Fashion has always meant so much more to me than simply getting dressed. It’s a form of self-expression. It’s how people get a glimpse of who you are before you’ve even said a single word.
I like to think of a wardrobe as a visual poem if you will. Every piece I choose, every accessory I add to my wardrobe, every outfit I put together becomes another verse in that story. And the clothes that matter the most aren’t necessarily the newest ones, they’re the pieces that become more meaningful with time. The ones you keep reaching for, the ones that collect memories, and eventually become part of who you are. Part of your style, and part of a simple choice: “of course I’ll lean into the leather jacket, it’s my go-to, I always have the best time when wearing it” - this is just a little example of how my mind connects to pieces, and to memories created alongside.

Maybe that’s exactly why, when Perwoll invited me to join them at Copenhagen Fashion Week, my answer came instantly: yes!
It felt like one of those partnerships that simply makes sense. I’ve always admired the way Perwoll approaches fashion, not just as something beautiful, but as something worth preserving. Their philosophy around caring for the clothes we love, extending their lifespan, and encouraging a more thoughtful relationship with our wardrobes is something I genuinely connect with.
The atmosphere here is creative, inspiring, and effortlessly cool. Between runway shows, dinners, backstage moments, and editing content in real time, every day was packed from morning until night, but in the best possible way. Again I stop and wonder how I got so lucky. We had such a long day, woke up at 6am, got ready, makeup, hair, rehearsals, filming the campaigns, a shooting on set, and above all I think - it’s just the energy of being around so many people the whole day. Don’t get me wrong we had the most amazing diverse influential and kick ass casting in the runway and everyone involved, from hairstylists to makeup artists, designers and styling teams, everyone did such an amazing job, yet somehow I felt so tired for a few hours. I’ll share the Youtube vlog with you guys if you want to see more “behind the scenes moments” of this whole experience let’s say.
One of the highlights of the trip was walking the runway in the Comeback Collection. Together with Victoria, we styled a look inspired by someone very close to my heart: my mom.
More specifically, it all started with her iconic black blazer, the one she wore over and over again throughout the years. To me, it’s the perfect example of timeless style. Trends come and go, but a beautifully tailored black blazer never loses its relevance. It evolves with you, adapts to different moments in life, and somehow always feels current.

Bringing that personal story onto the runway made the experience even more meaningful. It perfectly reflected the idea behind the collection: celebrating the value of pieces that deserve a second, third, or even tenth life instead of being forgotten after one season.
Beyond the runway, the days were filled with unforgettable moments, beautiful dinners, inspiring fashion shows (read more about the Stine Goya show which was co-hosted by Perwoll at the Dockers) conversations with incredibly creative people, and the constant excitement that only Fashion Week can bring to me. Of course, there was also the challenge of documenting everything and editing content on the go.
Somewhere between hotel rooms, backstage, airports, and coffee stops, I managed to capture the entire experience in real time. And honestly, I’ve grown to love this fast-paced lifestyle. Every trip brings new inspiration, new stories, and new perspectives. Tired yet happy, fulfilled to be able to share these experiences with all of you via my online journal. Because now, that we’re on blog again, I feel like I can write more, feel more and just share more. I don’t need a word count, sometimes I might not even need photos. Just you and my keyboard.
As I’m writing this, we’re already flying back home, wrapping up what has been an incredible few days with the Perwoll team. I’m so grateful to be part of this journey as a Perwoll ambassador and to represent a message I truly believe in: taking care of our clothes, appreciating the pieces that stay with us through the years, and embracing a more conscious approach to fashion. Because fashion isn’t about constantly buying something new.

It’s also about rediscovering what you already own. Taking care of those items. It’s about investing in timeless pieces, taking care of them, and allowing them to become part of your story. Sometimes, the most valuable item in your wardrobe is the one that’s already full of memories. And oh how simple your life becomes once you go full circle to yourself, and you know who you are, what suits you, what you love the most. Right?
If these few days in Copenhagen reminded me of one thing, it’s that authenticity and consistency always pay off. So often it feels like nothing is changing. You keep creating, you keep showing up, you keep believing in your vision, even when progress seems invisible. Then one day, you look back and realize just how far you’ve come.

And maybe that’s what fashion is really about. Not just what we wear, but the stories we choose to carry with us.
Love, A.
