Cookie Policy

This Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") refers to the use of cookies and the website operated by RETRO FUTURE BABE SRL, with headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, P-ţa TIMOTEI CIPARIU, No. 15, commercial space, Block IIIA, Apartment 58, Cluj County, registered with ONRC under no. J12/1902/2020, CUI 42733759, hereinafter referred to as "Retro Future", the "Owner" or "We".

1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small text file, generally consisting of identifiers, website names, letters and numbers, which the user, when browsing the web page through a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.), can allow or not to be installed by storing it on the computer, mobile terminal or other equipment used by him. The cookie file is "passive" (it does not contain software programs, viruses or spyware and cannot access information on the user's hard drive).

- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting. They can only be read by that website. In addition, websites sometimes use external services that place their own cookies – these are third-party cookies.

- Persistent cookies are cookies saved on your computer that, unlike session cookies, are not automatically deleted when you close your browser.

Each time you visit our website, you will be prompted to accept or decline cookies.

2. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DO WE USE?

We use two types of cookies:

- session - temporary files that remain in the user's terminal until the browsing session is closed or the application (web browser) is closed

- persistent - files that remain on the user's terminal for a period defined by the parameters of that cookie or until they are manually deleted by the user.

It is possible that some of our pages display content from external providers, for example YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

To view third-party content, you must first agree to their specific terms and conditions – including their cookie policies, which we cannot control.

But if you do not view that content, no third-party cookies will be installed.

3. WHAT DATA DO COOKIES CONTAIN?

In most cases, cookies do not directly identify Internet users, but the terminal from which they accessed certain web pages. This data is encrypted in a way that does not allow unauthorized access by third parties.

Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require a user to authenticate through an account):

- content and services adapted to user preferences – categories of news, weather, sports, maps, public and government services, entertainment websites and tourism services;

- offers tailored to users' interests – remembering passwords, language preferences (e.g. displaying search results in Romanian)

- retaining child protection filters regarding Internet content (family mode options, safe search functions);

- measurement, optimization and analytics features – such as: confirming a certain level of traffic on a website, what type of content is viewed and how a user reaches a website (e.g. through search engines, directly, from other websites, etc.). Website owners run these analyses to improve websites, for the benefit of users.

4. RETENTION AND DELETION OF COOKIES

Generally, an application used to access web pages allows cookies to be saved on the user's terminal by default. These settings can be modified by the user so that the automatic management of cookies is blocked by the web browser or the user is informed each time cookies are sent to his terminal.

5. MODIFICATION OF THIS POLICY

When necessary, we may amend this Policy to reflect applicable legal requirements and the processes carried out within the website operator by Us, regarding the use of cookies.

6. HOW CAN YOU MANAGE COOKIES?

You can delete all cookies that are already on your device by clearing your browser's browsing history. This will delete all cookies from all websites you have visited.

However, this means that you may lose some saved information (for example, website preferences).
